Karnivool will be one of the headliners of the next edition of Be Prog! My Friend, which will take place on September 24 and 25, 2027 at La Carpa del Poble Espanyol in Barcelona.
The Australian band will perform in Spain for the first time, headlining a new edition of the festival in a highly anticipated appearance following the release of 'In Verses', their fourth studio album and Karnivool's first release in more than a decade.
With 'In Verses', Karnivool open a new chapter in a career defined by a highly personal and complex approach to progressive rock. The album brings together ten songs shaped by years of musical evolution and personal experiences, marking a new meeting point between the identity that has defined the band and a completely renewed creative phase.
Recorded alongside their long-time collaborator and producer Forrester Savell, the creation of 'In Verses' spanned several years until the band began working on the final recording in early 2025. The result is an album that reflects both the difficulties of the creative process itself and Karnivool's need to break down their own barriers and explore new territories.
The release of 'In Verses' has also confirmed the huge anticipation that Karnivool continue to generate among their fans. Their supporting tour has seen the band sell out some of their biggest shows to date, including iconic venues such as London's Roundhouse and Sydney's Hordern Pavilion.
Formed in Perth, Karnivool have established themselves as one of Australia's most distinctive bands within the progressive and alternative rock scene. Their music combines complex structures, immersive atmospheres and a strong melodic sensibility, elements that have made releases such as 'Sound Awake' and 'Asymmetry' landmarks for an entire generation of genre fans.

Will food and water be allowed into the concert?
A sandwich and 50cl open-top water per person.
If the show has already started, will I be allowed in?
Yes, you can enter even after the event has started. You can enter the venue during the show upon presentation of your ticket.
Can you enter and exit the Big Top?
Yes, after 8:00 p.m. you can leave and re-enter with your wristband. Until then, you must remain inside the tent per venue policy.
Can I leave and re-enter Poble Espanyol?
No. Under Poble Espanyol policy, once you have entered the premises, leaving and subsequently re-entering is not permitted.
Can tickets be purchased at the venue box office?
On the day of the event, as long as there are tickets available.
If I have purchased tickets and cannot attend on the day of the event, will I get a refund?
No, no exchanges or refunds are allowed.

Children aged 0-12 have free access to the festival by downloading a retail ticket from the following link: TICKETS
Children aged 13 and over must pay full price: TICKETS
Any minor (from 0 to 16 years old) will only be able to access the venue accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, to do so you must purchase/download your ticket from the links indicated above and download the AUTHORIZATION fill it out, and submit it on the day of the festival at the wristband exchange point, along with copies of the ID (parent or legal guardian) and the ID (or family record book) of the minor.
Handling this process at the box office on the day of the festival will incur a fee; therefore, we recommend bringing an advance ticket, the completed/printed authorization form, and the minor's ticket.

Information on how to pay inside the festival
Payment inside the venue will be via cashless wristbands. Exchange your ticket at the wristband collection area (at the entrance to Poble Espanyol). Once inside the tent area, top up your wristband at the designated cashless ATMs (with a credit card or cash). You can now purchase drinks, food, and merchandise at the festival site.

Important: Do not throw away your wristband. You can recover the remaining balance on your wristband online the week after the festival on this page (it will be active until 09/30/2026) https://cashless.safetyglobal.com/devolucionesbeprog26. (Refunds are free, but you must request them within 14 days, i.e., by 10/14/2026).
